Personal Project:

I wanted to create a short animation that celebrated my favorite spooky season. I have always loved Edgar Allen Poe’s work and drew inspiration to create this animaiton.

Animatic:

I first started with a rough animatic in Procreate on my Ipad.

Illustration and Animation:

For the Illustration, I was inspired by old comics and western pulp novel illustraitons. I created the illustration in Adobe Fresco and then brought it into After Effects to animate.
